An intervention to renovate Pavilion 1 of the building complex known as Torino Esposizioni. The construction, commissioned by the council administration, dates back to the end of the 1930s on the project of architect Ettore Sottass. Originally the Palazzo della Moda, then the premises of the Car Showroom for many years, today it is home to the Economy department.
The entire building was completely renovated; in particular, the beams were structurally reinforced with carbon fibre, thanks to the assembly of internal scaffolding 12 metres high.
Renovation and the adaptation to regulations of the helicoidal stairway, a work of particular prestige.
Recovery and polishing of the original, white marble floor.
Air conditioning and heating systems in the classrooms.
The coloured dividing walls has led a particularly pleasant and suitable effect to the interiors.
