Extraordinary maintenance of the Faculty of Biology of the University of Turin
This 17th century monumental building attributed to Amedeo di Castellamonte, located between Piazza Carlo Emanuele commonly known as Piazza Carlina, Via Accademia delle Scienze and Via Giolitti is home to the Faculty of Biology of the University of Turin. Founded by the Duke of Savoy as a residence for Lateran Canonical Nuns, it was inhabited by them until the Napoleonic abolition, then turned into a military hospital and barracks. Today it is a place of study.
The intervention regarded the plant engineering and electrical systems aimed at obtaining fire prevention certification. The works regarded places of particular architectural importance, in part new systems and in part the reconstruction of existing systems.
